DHA: Brain Development

Proper development of the brain and other vital functions are critical in very young puppies. Higher levels of EPA and DHA (0.30%) from anchovy oil promote the healthy development of your young MAXI puppy’s brain and nervous system, as well as motor skills and sensory perception.
Babydog 30TM kibbles are specifically designed to fit the tiny jaws and teeth of your young MAXI puppy, in order to enable easier grasping and chewing.
Between the 4th and 12th week of life, a young puppy’s immune system can be compromised as the initial immunity from its mother’s milk slowly fades away. Nutrients such as MOS*, vitamin E (600 mg/kg) & vitamin C (300 mg/kg), taurine and lutein help stimulate the production of anti-bodies and build the immune system.
Until the age of 3 months, a young MAXI puppy’s stomach is delicate and some starches can be difficult to digest. L.I.P.s (low indigestible proteins) promote maximum digestibility for the sensitive stomach of the young puppy. Additionally, prebiotics (FOS* & MOS*) and psyllium help to promote optimal digestion, with less gas and diarrhea. This translates to smaller, firmer stools that are easier to pick up.
