Product Information
A cat has a very long maturity phase. During the first phase (7-12 years of age) many of the early aging signs including reduced kidney function and arthritis, may not be visible. APPETITE CONTROL SPAYED/NEUTERED 7+ helps maintain vitality during the first phase of aging through the inclusion of a specialized complex of antioxidants, including vitamins C and E, lutein, taurine and green tea extracts, along with EPA and DHA, glucosamine and chondroitin. APPETITE CONTROL SPAYED/NEUTERED 7+ is formulated with a controlled phosphorous content to help support aging kidneys and maintain healthy kidney function.

Spaying or neutering leads to a change in hormone levels which causes a cat’s metabolism and energy requirements to decrease by up to 30%[1]. At the same time, spaying or neutering can cause an increase in appetite, which can lead to begging and unwanted behaviours. APPETITE CONTROL SPAYED/NEUTERED 7+ is formulated with an increased level of soluble and insoluble fibres, along with a ring-shaped, low-density kibble design to help create a feeling of fullness, which leaves a cat feeling satisfied, both during meals and between meals. 81% of owners who tested Appetite Control formulas on a cat with a tendency to beg for food were satisfied with the results[2].

A large number of spayed and neutered cats are overweight. Excess weight can contribute to a number of health problems and may even result in a shorter lifespan. APPETITE CONTROL SPAYED/NEUTERED 7+ helps to minimize the accumulation of excess fat through a high protein content and lower calories[3]. Supplemental L-carnitine (200 mg/kg min) helps to burn excess fat stores. An adapted feeding guide and ring-shaped, low-density kibble design ensure appropriate feeding amounts, contributing to a healthy body weight.
